Plain answers about the Kurdistan Land Draw — how it works, how to check it, and what winning means.
What is the Kurdistan Land Draw?
A prize draw where a US$1 entry can win a real parcel of land in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Each prize is its own draw with its own gate, its own entrants, and one winner. The current land draw offers a 200 m² parcel in Shaqlawa, 45 km northeast of Hewlêr (Erbil).
How does the draw work?
You pick a draw, buy entries at $1 each, and each paid entry becomes one slot in that draw's entry list. When the draw's gate is reached, the entry list is frozen and its SHA-256 fingerprint is published before the random number exists, then a public randomness beacon picks the winner. Is the Kurdistan Land Draw legit? How can I check?
Don't take our word for it — verify it. USDT payments are visible on the public TRON blockchain via TRONSCAN, every draw's entry list is sealed and fingerprint-published before the winning number exists, and the winning number comes from drand, a public randomness beacon we cannot influence. How is the winner picked?
By drand, a public randomness beacon. The beacon round is announced in advance, the entry list is sealed first, and anyone can recompute the winning ticket from the published list and the beacon's public value. Watch or check any draw at the live draw page.
How much does an entry cost?
US$1.00 per entry, paid in USDT (TRC-20) — or IQD 1,600 per entry in Korek phone credit when it shows as available in the payment picker — a method marked "Coming soon" is not accepting payment yet. Phone-credit payments are verified manually against your receipt screenshot.
What can I win?
The land draw's prize is a real parcel in Shaqlawa, Kurdistan Region of Iraq — the only prize right now. If a new draw ever opens, it appears on the draws page before it takes a single entry. Every draw is open worldwide.
What are my odds?
Every paid entry is one slot in that draw's list, and every slot has the same chance when the draw runs. Public pages show how full each draw is as a percentage; more entries mean more slots, up to the per-person cap.
Is there a spending limit?
Yes — a maximum of $25 per person per draw (25 paid $1 entries). The cap is on money spent; free bonus entries don't count toward it. It is enforced per email address and per phone number.
Can I get bonus entries?
Two ways, both free: buy 5 entries and get 1 bonus entry, buy 10 and get 3; and each confirmed paid entry from a friend you referred adds 1 bonus entry for you, capped at 3 per draw — you must hold a confirmed entry in that draw yourself. Both kinds of bonus come from the draw's fixed bonus pool and are granted while it lasts.
Who can enter?
Anyone 18 or older who is not a resident of a restricted jurisdiction and not a director, officer, employee, or immediate family member of the Promoter or the charity foundation. Every draw is open worldwide — note that prizes other than land are collected locally in the Kurdistan Region, in person or by someone you nominate. Details are in the rules.
I won land but I don't live in Kurdistan — what happens?
You receive a contract according to the land type, and registration in your name begins within 90 days of the draw, under KRG and Iraqi law. If your residency, nationality, or immigration status doesn't permit direct registration, you may nominate one relative living in the Kurdistan Region — parent, sibling, adult child, or spouse — to hold the registration on your behalf while you remain the beneficial owner. Is there a cash alternative to a prize?
No. Prizes are awarded as the physical prize itself — no cash value is offered in place of a prize.
What happens if a prize goes unclaimed?
It rolls into the next draw of the same kind. An unclaimed parcel makes the next land draw two parcels, both awarded to that draw's single winner.
Where does the money go?
10% of every paid entry is set aside for Kurdish youth programmes, to be distributed through a charity foundation now being established. How the flow works — and how it will be reported — is written out in the charity policy.
When does a draw happen?
When its gate fills. The draw time is announced in advance on the draw's page, the entry list is sealed and fingerprinted before the random number exists, and the result can be checked by anyone afterwards on the live draw page.
